Wagga Wagga’s local radio station, 1152 2WG is running a daily auction in the month of June, to raise some very much needed funds for the Wagga Wagga Base Hospital Children’s Ward.
Oar-Gee Lures will be putting up an article for auction on Wednesday 25th of June. For auction is a signed and boxed 100mm Plow. (photo below)
What makes this lure more significant than any other Oar-Gee Lure is that it has for the first time been signed by both Debbie and Wayne Lennon, owners and manufacturers of Oar-Gee Lures and is marked #1. We have never both signed a lure before and are proud to offer this piece of fishing memorabilia to auction for this worthy cause.
To bid in the auction call 2WG between 6.30am and 9am on Wednesday the 25th of June on 02 69219219 to place your bid. People from outside the listening area can monitor their bids on the 2WG Facebook page.
If the final bid is below $500 Oar-Gee lures will contribute the balance to bring it to $500.
If the winning bid exceeds $500, Oar-Gee lures will take the person making the winning bid fishing for one day at either Talbingo Dam, Blowering Dam, Burrinjuck Dam or Lake Mulwala.
This trip will leave from Wagga Wagga on a mutually agreed day, and will include transport from Wagga, all fishing equipment lunch and light refreshments.
